Anyways, this is sort of a joint effort between me and Thundra.(One of my other good friends) Although she might want to finish her current story before making a sequel, but I reaaaally wanted to post this. Anyways, this contains the characters from my story, that at this point is not written and doesn't have a title. And also Thundra's characters from her story. So Thundra and I will be switching off chapters. So anyways, I wrote this chapter, since I just love intros and I have this wonderous ability to make you care. And anyways, if you have any questions about this chapter message me. Or if you have any questions about Sky, Aera, Rea or the red-headed Alex, talk to me.
If you have any questions about Sierra or the blonde Alex, I don't know how you'll contact Thundra. But you can try at http://oddseyhigh.proboards57.com/index.cgi

Do I Need You?
Brought To You By: Thlisundrad
Chapter One
Perfect Timing

She was there. She was always there and had always been there for two years. She’d been thrown together with him on a ship with limited living space for all of that time. And since they met, the farthest they were ever apart was about a hundred yards. It was so obvious to anyone else but those two. And still, neither one ever made a move. It really didn’t make much sense, I mean, how could they go for two years without realizing it?
Of course then again, the same concept goes for a brown haired nymph. She saw him all the time. She just never saw him. He was there but she never noticed him. He was just her brother’s best friend. Just that, and he’d stay that way for her whole life.
-----
“We’re finally back!” she exclaimed, throwing her arms around the old dogwood tree in their front yard.
“You’re going to scare the neighbors.” The girl’s brother chuckled lightly.
“I don’t care! I love this tree! And I love you Alex! And you’re alive!” Sierra exclaimed, throwing her arms around her twin brother, her brown hair falling in front of her face as she pulled her brother closer.
“What happened to the shy Sierra I used to know?” he croaked, trying to breathe.
“She’s out right now she’ll be back later.” Sierra answered, letting go of Alex and beginning to wander around their property.
Alex stuck to her side like glue; he wasn’t taking any chances anymore. After their latest adventure, he wasn’t sure he could ever let her out of his sight again.
“Why don’t we go into town, check out the people, it’ll be fun, let’s go!” Sierra offered, obviously anxious to meet her old friends; meet new people.
“I don’t know, I mean what if…” Alex started, growing uneasy.
Sierra stopped him, knowing once he got off on one of his ‘what if’ rants; he’d most likely never stop.
“Come on Alex, I just want to say hi to our friends, I’m not going to talk to strangers or anything, please?” she pleaded, twirling one strand of her hair around her index finger.
Alex sighed and unwillingly nodded. Sierra pulled him into a bone crushing hug before turning away and running for their bikes propped up on the mailbox. Alex stood in his place for a moment, wondering where his sister had gone before he realized she was pedaling out of sight, thankfully with her helmet strapped securely in place.
Alex ran after the brunette, throwing his helmet on carelessly and mounting his bicycle. He pedaled furiously to catch up to her as she crossed the street to the large shopping market. She turned around the corner of a building and Alex had lost sight of the girl.
------------
“Okay you can do this…” the silver haired boy said into the bathroom mirror.
“Hey, Aer. You know that kiss we had two years ago that you told me to completely forget? Well, I haven’t exactly forgotten. I think about it all the time in fact… can I have another one?” he spoke meekly to the face in the mirror.
“No, no, no.” he mumbled, rubbing his temples.
“Aer, hey, want some Diet Coke? Well, now that I’ve buttered you up… I want to tell you, I really like you.” The boy muttered.
He sighed exasperatedly. “Um, how about; Hey Aer, you’ve got something on your lips, let me get it…” Sky offered, tugging at his collar uncomfortably.
“God you suck at this.” Sky told the face in the mirror.
He would have laughed at the thought of what Aer would do to him if she heard the word ‘God’. He would have, had he not been so desperate.
“Okay, I’m just going to go out there, and tell her that I like her, no big deal!” Sky told himself pathetically and in a high pitched voice.
“Maybe I can go out on the streets and buy a pick-up line.” Sky breathed, knowing that this was one baby step short of hopeless.
“Are you done in there yet?!” an irritated voice called from outside the bathroom. A loud bang on the door followed the voice. “I will knock down this door if needed.” The girl stated.
“I’m coming.” Sky replied, a soft blush creeping up his cheeks as e though of the fact that Aera was standing just outside the door. He took a quick breath before pushing the door open.
The blonde glared at the boy behind the door as it was thrown aside. At that glare began to burn the silver-haired boy’s flesh, his heart sank. It would be practically impossible for him to tell a girl the truth if she could throw him a glare as evil as that. He sighed almost inaudibly, stepping into the grocery store aisle.
“What were you doing in there?!” she exclaimed.
“Do you want a number?” Sky offered.
Aera rolled her eyes at this and turned towards their almost full shopping cart. “Don’t take that long, alright? We have a job to do, you know? Traveling through space, fighting off enemies, saving the universe? Ringing any bells?” the blonde snapped, carting their goods through the aisles of the store.
As Aera walked ahead, Sky lagged behind, disheartened at Aera’s reaction to himself. Sky’s head reeled with thoughts of how he would ever tell her. Sky began to wonder whether he should ever tell her. He waited for her at the front of the store.
“Aer… I… sort of, have to… tell you, something.”
“Well, spit it out then!”
“I think… I think I’m falling in love with you.”
“…”
“Aer?”
“…”
“Are you going to say something?”
“… W-when?”
“I think it started two years ago. You know, the-”
“Chocolate milk incident? Yeah, I’m familiar with it.”
“Do you-”
“No. I’m sorry but… I just… Don’t, you’re a great guy, but I never did.”

“Hey, Earth to Sky!” someone screamed into his ear.
“Ack!” Sky exclaimed, falling onto his butt.
“Sorry, but I thought zombies had eaten your brain.” Aera chirped.
Sky sighed and got back to his feet. “What do you want?”
“I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to go.” Aera informed Sky.
“Thanks for telling me.” He muttered, following the girl as she dragged the multiple bags out of the store.
She stopped suddenly, causing Sky to slam into her. He looked up from the ground, cursing under his breath. She was staring across the street, jaw unhinged from its normal closed position. Sky had only seen that look once, when she’d turned over her pockets and all those power-ups and Gummi blocks had fallen out of it.
“Sky, do you think he’s cute?” she inquired, subtly nodding towards a blonde kid across the street.
Sky shakily stood on his feet looking over Aera’s shoulder to see a skimpy blonde kid, at least he was skimpy in Sky’s mind. If I thought he was cute, then I wouldn’t have a huge crush on you. Sky thought, whimpering pathetically in his mind.
"No way!" Sky exclaimed.
“Congratulations, we’ve established you’re not gay!” Aera teased, patting his shoulder in a congratulatory fashion.
Sky failed to respond as she sauntered across the street towards the store. “Wait!” he finally called as she was halfway across the street.
Aera turned to see him sprinting towards her. “What is it?” she whined, obviously wanting to get across the street.
“Traveling through space, fighting off enemies, saving the universe, ring any bells?” he asked frantically, using the girl’s own words against her.
“Feh, it can wait.” Aera told him dismissively.
“B-but, maybe the customs here are different than your home world, it may offend him for a girl to ask him out.” Sky stuttered desperately.
“Don’t be a sexist. I’m going over there and I’m asking him out!” Aera exclaimed stubbornly.
Sky searched for a reason that would stop her from going over to the blonde boy. But she was already there. Sky stepped out of the street, just now the horns honking at him reaching his ears. Sky fell down onto the ground, leaning against grocery store. He was so angry at himself, he hated himself right now. His fist hit the ground in a steady rhythm, trying to take out his anger on something other than himself.
----------------------------------------------
Alex stopped across from the grocery store, searching for his MIA sister. There where only so many places she could have gone. Alex was so close to just going through every store and shouting out for her to come back to him. Alex was so completely wrapped up in his mental worrying over his sister; he didn’t realize the stranger standing there until she spoke.
“You seem to be looking for something, can I help?” the girl sang softly, a smile playing over her lips.
“Oh… no thanks.” Alex muttered, looking over his shoulder to catch a glimpse of the beautiful girl.
“Really? I know I’ve been looking for you.” She whispered, the grin growing with every word she spoke.
Alex chose this moment to turn around to see the girl. “Whoa.” He breathed, almost breathlessly.
The girl chuckled at this, her eyelids closing down over her deep blue eyes. “It’s just… I’m, a little surprised.” Alex mumbled, sheepishly blushing softly.
“I didn’t think it was legal to make guys so cute.” The blonde girl chimed, leaning in towards the boy.
He blushed even deeper at this, “I’m Alex. And you are…?” he offered.
“I’m Aera.” She told him batting her eyelashes again.
“Aera. It’s pretty, almost as pretty as you.” Alex muttered to the shorter girl, his face turning into a deep red as he spoke those words.
Aera chuckled at the obvious embarrassment she had brought to him. “I have to go return these groceries to a friend,” Aera told the boy, lifting up the bags she was carrying, “Maybe I’ll see you again sometime. Say at that pizza parlor. At say; five?” she offered nodding towards the store a few blocks away with the spinning pizza above its roof.
“Let’s say eight.” Alex offered, his cheeks beginning to return to their normal, peach color.
“Let’s.” Aera sang turning away with a quick wink.
Alex stood there wordlessly as the mysterious blonde girl ambled away. His heartbeat quickened, as she carried away a few dozen grocery bags as if they were weightless. Strong, beautiful, carefree, perfect. Alex took a deep breath and resumed his search for his sister.
------------------------
“Something wrong?” the dark blonde haired girl asked as she twirled around in the pilot’s chair.
“Aera… met this guy.” Sky mumbled reluctantly, refusing to take his gaze off his gray shoes.
“And you have a problem with this why?” Rea questioned, weaving her hands together and resting her chin on the bridge made between her hands.
“Because he loves her!” the red-head behind Sky teased from over the silver haired one’s shoulder.
“When did you walk in Alex?” Sky inquired lifelessly, not even bothering to turn around to face the annoying little gremlin.
“Somewhere around wrong.” Alex informed the two, taking his usual spot. Of course he had to sit on the arm of the chair since his usual spot was the pilot’s chair.
“So why do you have a problem with this kid?” this time Alex repeated the question, a playful gleam in his eyes.
Knowing whatever he said, Alex would contort that into, ‘Sky loves Aera’ (Which he did) Sky took his sweet time answering. “I just don't see those two clicking.”
“Have you even met this guy?” Rea questioned, knowing the answer before she even asked.
“No… but I saw him from across the street and he looked seriously bad in the lighting.” Sky offered weakly.
“Do you know this guy’s name?” Rea questioned with a heavy sigh, she prayed that Sky had some good reason for hating this guy; otherwise, they’d have a horrible few weeks ahead.
“Armageddon. Or was it Apocalypse?” Sky mumbled unquestionably irritated, as his face heated up with total and complete hatred.
“Very funny. But Sky; you may not like this person, but you at least have to accept that Aera does!” Rea told him, reaching and patting his knee.
“But, how can I accept that?” Sky whispered as Aera stepped into the main room, as gorgeous as ever.
“All ready! How do I look?” she questioned turning around for them to see.
“You look like you came out of a Playboy.” Sky offered, praying for her to change out of her scanty outfit.
“Great!” Aera exclaimed, taking that as a compliment.
“Seriously though, that’s not something you wear on a first date.” Rea explained, trying to help Sky sleep tonight.
“When do you wear it then?” Aera questioned.
“When you become a prostitute.” Alex supported.
Aera shrugged her bare shoulders and looked down at her tube top that only covered just enough. Then her skirt began barely above her thighs, pretty much squeezed the life out of her legs, ending a little bit less than half of the way down her thighs. And she still pulled it off.
Sky stood up and walked over to the light blonde haired girl. He looked her up and down one last time before cracking a weak smile.
“Good luck Aer.” He breathed as she grinned from ear to ear.
“Thanks Sky.”
And Sky had to watch her walk away.

Not too much Sierra and Alex in this chapter, but there really wasn't too much too write on them right now, though Thundra gets the next chapter, so expect to see more of them

Do I Need You?
Chapter Two
Check Please!

“Alex, why’ve you been so quiet tonight?” Sierra asked, spinning around in her desk chair. “Is it because I ditched you before?”
Alex had been absently chewing a thumbnail, but now turned some of his attention to his sister. “No, it’s not that…” he muttered, still distracted.
“Then what is it? Don’t tell me that now you and I can’t share everything anymore because of what happened these last few months. That’s exactly what they want.”
“No, no, not that…it’s just…” he sat up suddenly. “What time is it?”
She checked the clock. By now she’d stopped twirling and was focused on her brother. “’Bout eight. Why?”
“Crap!” he muttered, lunging out of his chair. He grabbed a jacket and ran out the door, calling back, “I’ve gotta go. I’ll see you later tonight!”
Suspiciously, Sierra got up to follow him. Where was he going at eight at night? Was he meeting someone? Who?
As he sprinted out the door and grabbed his bike, she followed, grabbing hers.
He pedaled away quickly, urgently, and she raced after him, at a safe distance but close enough that she could follow him in the gathering dusk.
-------------------------------
Aera sat at a booth in the corner of the room. Of course, they didn’t need the whole booth, but she liked the privacy.
She waited for Alex to come, watching everyone that entered. She had made sure to get the seat that faced the door so she’d know when he came in.
Reaching up, she pulled a few strands of hair back, away from her face. She looked great, and she knew it, but she wanted everything to be perfect. And, despite herself, she felt a little nervous.
Maybe she should get pizza. She stood and crossed the room. She knew everyone’s eyes were on her and her clothes.
She ignored them and ordered a slice. Even though the room was pretty packed, there was not much line and not much of a wait. The dumbfounded cashier handed over her pizza, staring. She winked at him and went back to her booth.
It was only a few moments later when someone burst through the door and into the room. Heads turned to face him, but mostly people didn’t pay any attention.
His hair was a little disheveled, and he ran a hand through it as he looked around for Aera.
She raised one hand and wiggled her fingers to get his attention.
He grinned and went over to her. Dropping down on the seat across from her, he propped his elbows on the table and rested his chin in his hands.
“Sorry I’m late,” he said. “I had to hunt something down.”
She nodded. “Sure, that’s fine. Do you want to get some pizza?”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sky sat across the room from them. As soon as Alex entered the building, he felt hatred inside him. The blonde haired boy went to sit next to his Aer, and they were talking. As they got up and crossed to the counter, people turned to look at the beautiful girl and the boy with her.
His face was dark with anger, and as they ambled back across the room lazily with pizza in hands, he glared daggers at the unknowing boy’s back.
The room was now full, every table and seat occupied. He barely noticed this; he was so intent on watching the two across the room.
Camera in hand he pulled it to his eye, awkwardly pressing the button atop the weird box.
He barely noticed it until someone sat down across the booth from him. He tried to ignore her, but she spoke to him.
“What are you paparazzi?”
Sky stayed silent, hoping she would take the hint and leave, but then she spoke again.
“Who are you staring at?”
He briefly glanced at her. “No one you know.”
“Oh. I thought you were staring at that girl with the short skirt and the blonde boy. I thought you know that girl?”
He now turned to face her. “So?”
“Tell me about her.”
“Why are you so interested?”
“She’s with my brother.”
-------------------------------
“Wow.” Alex commented as they walked back to their table.
“What?” Aera asked.
“You’re clothes…” he blushed. “You look really hot.” His eyes took in the miniskirt and
“Thanks.” She said, blushing too. They sat down and she decided to change the subject.
“How long have you lived here?”
“Not very. I just moved here…sort of. I used to live here.”
“Oh.”
They were quiet for a second as both ate their pizza.
“What happened earlier today? You just showed up, and then left.” He laughed.
“I saw you from the grocery store. You are so hot.”
“Not as hot as you.”
“Excuse me?” Both heads turned to see a red haired girl standing next to the booth. Her slight weight was thrown on one leg, and one of her hands was planted on her hip. “Alex, who is this?”
Alex sighed. “Ashley. Hey.”
“You didn’t answer my question.”
Alex rolled his eyes at Aera. “Back off, kay? Ashley, I don’t like you. You don’t like me. That’s why we broke up.”
“Yeah, but come on. Her? Alex, I thought you actually had some pride. This piece of scrap? Wow. Just wow, Alex. I wouldn’t have thought you’d sink down that low.”
Alex shot Aera an apologetic look. “Sorry about her, Aera. Ashley, take a deep breath. And you know what? You can’t insult her. You seriously need to go away.” He stood up.
“What are you going to do?” Someone from behind her said.
“Oh god, what now.” He muttered. At the table behind Ashley, a tall boy stood up. He looked much older than her, and had large muscles up and down his arms and legs. His short dark hair stuck up straight, and his menacing eyes glared Alex down.
“Alex, meet my new boyfriend,” Ashley said dreamily. “Ricky, from the football team.”
“Oohh, the football team,” said Aera sarcastically. “Exciting.”
“I know, isn’t he great?” she said, still dreamily. “Much better than you ever were, Alex.”
Alex sighed once again. “Well Ash, if he’s so great, why are you so mad that I’m here with Aera?”
Ashley didn’t say anything. She did, though, turn to her table and pick up a bottle of soda, which she promptly dumped on Alex’s head. Of course, Alex dodged away from it, leaving her pouring soda on nothing.
Then, in a huff, she stormed away with Ricky from the football team, leaving Alex and Aera laughing hard at the slight, angry girl and the buff football player.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“So tell me, Sierra. About you and your brother.”
Sierra took a sip of her drink cautiously. She didn’t want Sky to know too much. “There’s not much to tell. We move around a lot.”
“Oh really? Why is that?”
She gave him a fake smile. She was getting suspicious. “Not much reason. We don’t like to stay in one place.”
If he took any note of her falseness, he didn’t show it. “That’s cool, you know, traveling on your own. What about school?”
“We don’t really…” she switched the conversation. “What about you? Where do you go to school? What do you do all the time? And where do you live?”
Sky had prepared for this, of that she was sure. “I go to boarding school during the year. It’s summer now. My parents are divorced and live in different parts of the States, so I live with one every once in a while. Usually with my mom, occasionally with my dad, who lives here.”
“Oh, that’s interesting.”
She kept glancing over Aera and Alex, and saw Ashley come over with her over buff boyfriend. She snickered when she saw this.
“What?”
“Oh, that’s Ashley. She was once, a long long time ago, Alex’s girlfriend, but she was a jerk and he never really liked her. So he broke up with her. She refuses to admit she still likes him. It’s actually pretty funny. Whenever he’s out anywhere with friends, and she’s there, she likes to say that he still likes her, just refuses to admit it. He never did, and she just can’t realize that.”
“Interesting. She’s very pretty.” He said, faking boredom.
“Yeah, I guess so. But I’m not gay, so I wouldn’t think so.”
They were quiet for a few minutes, while they both watched the people opposite them in the crowded café.
-------------------
“Sorry about her.” He said. “That was pretty bad. She does that a lot, and it’s really annoying.”
Aera sighed and nodded. She was happy though. It was a simple problem, and she didn’t care much about Ashley. Ashley was insignificant. Aera was having fun, even though the conversations were really awkward.
“Wanna get hot chocolate?” he asked. They served hot chocolate here too, with pizza.
“In the summer?”“One of the best times for it.”
Alex got up and bought two hot chocolates for them, and handed one to her.
As Aera reached out to get it, she accidentally knocked over her hot chocolate. It spilled on the table and onto her lap, staining her tiny miniskirt. It burned her and she leaped up.
Alex stood too. “Bathroom time?” he asked her, and she nodded.
Together they began to walk across the crowded room. Once again everyone turned to look at them.
Alex thought it must’ve looked pretty funny, him, wearing jeans and a T-shirt, hair messed up from running, with Aera, who wore such little clothing that more of her skin showed than was covered up, with her perfect blonde hair and perfect features, with a large hot chocolate stain on her miniskirt.
He grinned at her and they both started laughing. She must’ve been thinking the same thing.
--------
“Tell me about your brother.”
“Why are you so curious about him? You tell me about your friend then.”
“Why are you so curious about her?”
“My brother is here with her at a pizza place. Come on Sky. I should be curious. It would be strange if I wasn’t.”
“She’s like my sister. So I’m curious for the same reason as you.”
There was another pause.
“Then tell me about you, Sierra.” Sky said.
She was a little shocked. “Huh?”
“Tell me about you.”
“No one ever asks about me.”
“Why not?” he asked, now curious about her.
“I don’t know. Everyone’s always interested in him, not me. Or something else about me, but never me. I don’t know why. I guess I’m just not an interesting person.”
“I don’t think that.”
“Well, you’re different from them. Not in a bad way, of course.” She added hastily.
“I’ve known that for a while,” he said wistfully.
Then he realized who was walking towards them; Alex, with a hot chocolate-stained Aera. And he realized they’d just caught sight of them too.
Aera’s face was turning red with anger, her mouth opening, about to yell at him.
Alex wasn’t sure what to do, and just stared at them, not even sure if he’d seen them right.
Quickly, Sky put his hand over Sierra’s, leaning over the table.
His mouth met Sierra’s in an instant.

I took the liberty of adding a name, 'cuz every chapter deserves a name! Plus it's funny.

Hey, I didn't write this chapter!
But I'll change it anyway.
Like I said, Thundra and I will be switching off chapters.
And the last 2 bloopers aren't bloopers, you're just reading them the wrong way,
'slight, angry girl' is using slight as an adjective, As in 'thin, angry girl
And then the other one means she moved back here after living here before, which is a lie.

Do I Need You? Empty Don't Touch Me

Post by Ablissad Sat Jan 05, 2008 9:15 pm

Do I Need You?
Chapter Three
Don’t Touch Me

She was totally expecting it. Okay, she was just a little surprised. Fine, she was completely caught off guard. But I seriously don’t blame her. One minute this complete stranger is drilling you about you and your brother, the next he’s making out with you in front of dozens of people. Sierra’s eyes immediately widened in utmost surprise. But she didn’t stop the boy, even though he was kissing her right in front of her brother. Sky’d get the heat, not her. And soon she was kissing him in return. It was… nice, fiery, he was a good kisser.
And soon it was over, the boy with silver hair sat back down in his seat. One of those, whatcha gonna do now, looks plastered on his smug face. He didn’t look frightened at all as he faced the girl’s brother. Not an easy task as the boy’s left eye was twitching, and you could see the invisible steam flowing out of his ears.
Aera almost screamed, almost told that smug kid off for spying on her and her date. But Aera’s mouth clamped shut as she realized the angry boy standing to her left. She gave Alex a scrutinizing glance before a devilish smile crossed over her face.
“I’m going to have to cut this date short. Seeya later Alex, here’s my phone number.” She told him taking a napkin and nearby pen and handing him the numbers neatly written on the white surface.
Sky shot her an angry glance, realizing the only phone was one Alex had installed in the Gummi Ship a few weeks ago. It was supposed to be for emergencies, to call each other via earpiece. Not for dates.
“Hey, I take you’re Alex’s sister? He mentioned you! Here, why don’t you show me around town? It’s been awhile since a saw this place.” Aera questioned, her voice more sweetly sugar coated than usual.
“Uh, sure…” Sierra replied awkwardly.
Aera grinned almost sickeningly sweetly. Sky could feel his heart melt all over again at the girl’s smile. The one that could get you to do anything at the sound of her musical voice. Sky’s face paled as he realized that once Sierra left the building, he would be alone with the brother.
“Thanks Sierra.” She chimed, making her way to the door.
“Bye Sierra, bye Aer.” Sky murmured meekly.
“Screw you Sky.” Aera replied in that same sugar sweet voice. “Oh one more thing!” she exclaimed running back to Alex.
Her arms entwined behind his neck as her lips were brought up to his. Alex wrapped his arms around her bare back. Aera pulled away after a few seconds. She brushed a stray strand of hair away from her forehead. She smiled warmly.
“Bye.” Alex muttered, letting her go.
Aera nodded, swiping coffee from a nearby table. She pulled the cap off quickly, sniffing the contents. She sighed in content, taking in the high sugar content. Then she promptly turned it over on Sky’s head.
“Ow! Hey!” he screeched as the scalding hot contents poured over his head.
Aera quickly walked away from the shop, hips swaying with every step.
“She’s somethin’.” Alex muttered, wondering how a girl could fit the high school mean girl profile, but then be a tomboy as well.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Sierra walked with Aera through the safe streets of the town. Walking down the dangerous ones, you know, with rapists and assaulters, Aera would be an easy target. Sierra was, despite being torn away from the new boy, was having a good time. Aera was good company, despite what you might think from her choice of clothing.
“And this is our local gym.” Sierra told the newcomer, pointing to the large building to their left.
“Ooh nice! I’ll have to tell the gang about this!” she exclaimed, drifting closer to the building.
“Gang?” Sierra questioned, suddenly curious.
“Oh, just this group of friends I hang out with.” Aera replied.
“I thought you just moved here.” Sierra told her furrowing her brow.
“Yes, well, our parents worked together so we all move wherever the others go.” Aera told the girl.
“Sky’s parents are divorced.” Sierra pointed out, her brow furrowing ever more.
“Well, only one of Sky’s parents works with mine, sometimes he stays wherever she goes, sometimes he stays with his dad.” Aera covered quickly.
“Okay.” Sierra drawled skeptically.
“What? You don’t believe me?” Aera inquired defensively.
“Well, it sounds a little out there.” Sierra told her truthfully.
“You have no idea.” Aera mumbled under her breath.
“What?” Sierra questioned as she began walking again.
“Nothing, anyway, tell me about Alex.” Aera demanded, walking alongside the other girl.
“Well… he’s a really nice guy, loyal, friendly. He’s a great kid.” Sierra informed the other girl, not caring too much that she was her brother’s girlfriend.
“That’s good.” Aera murmured, her hands joining behind her back.
“Now; you tell me about Sky.” Sierra demanded.
“He’s a great guy. Usually, though sometimes I just want to strangle him because… well it’s a long story. Alex keeps trying to hook us up, but believe me it isn’t going to happen. He’s really serious most of the time, but he’ll joke around when the time is right. He doesn’t like to talk about his parents or his past life.” Aera relayed to the girl, walking along.
“Heh, it’s like an inverted dating profile.” Sierra chuckled as she kept walking.
Everything was great. It was a beautiful night and Aera had two new friends. When you’re rocketing across the universe there’s not too much time to make friends. And then a hand fell on Aera’s shoulder. She immediately whirled around and almost called her weapon to her, in a split second she cut off the energy forming the blade. There’d be a lot more questions if that thing appeared. But she’d still have to explain the sparks between her hands, but that was easier than explaining the weapon. She elbowed the person’s jaw, soon after, kicking his legs out from under them. Then she realized it was that girl, Ahley.
“Oh, sorry, thought you were… nevermind. You okay?” Aera questioned, holding out her hand to help the poor girl up.
“I don’t need your help. I came here to tell you,” Ashley began, climbing to her feet. “That by the time I’m done with you, you’ll be begging for mercy” she snapped, brushing gravel off her shorts.
“Ooh, I’m so very scared.” Aera whimpered sarcastically, wheeling around on her heels.
“You should be.” Ashley hissed.
“Good-bye Ashley, see you in heck.” Aera snapped, gliding away.
Once out of earshot, Sierra spoke again, “Where’d you learn stuff like that?” she questioned, astonished.
“Around.” Aera replied vaguely.
“From who?” Sierra questioned.
“Okay, Sky and I seriously don’t like to talk about our past.” Aera informed Sierra, turning to face her.
“That’s a cool necklace, where’d you get it?” Sierra questioned, reaching out to touch the pendant hanging around Aera’s neck that had come out of her tube top during her scuffle with Ashley.
“It’s a pendant, not a necklace. And it’s really old.” Aera responded, tucking the pendant back into her top.
“Sorry. But, how can it be old? It looks brand new!” Sierra pointed out, wanting another glimpse of the pendant.
“Please, I’d rather not talk about my pendant… It’s personal.” Aera whispered, closing her eyes.
“I’m sorry. We’d better head home.” Sierra pointed out, breaking off the awkward conversation.
“Right.” Aera murmured, turning away and walking off into the middle of nowhere.
Sierra only pondered for a moment why she wasn’t heading towards the suburban area. Then she shrugged it off and headed to her own home.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“You… you… you….” Alex stumbled over words, his face heating up as his rage grew.
“Me?” Sky questioned, poking the ever growing fire.
“You… are… dead…” Alex hissed, his fist clenching as the kiss between this punk and his sister replayed in his head.
For about a minute, no one moved. The blonde boy just stared down at the coffee covered boy still sitting at the table. Then, one upturned chair later, Sky was making a mad sprint for the door. Alex reacted mere moments later, slamming into the door before it had even closed.
Sky didn’t even throw a glance over his shoulder as he raced across the street, not even bothering to look both ways. Alex grabbed his bike from the ground, knowing the seconds wasted mounting the bike would be worth it, there wasn’t too much of a chance he could catch up to the taller boy. Not because Alex was slow, but Sky’s legs were so much longer.
Alex pedaled furiously, not even bothering to throw his helmet over his head. If you fell off now, he’d have a trip to the ER for sure, but catching his sister’s friend was more important at this moment. Alex kept the boy in sight, catching up slowly. Sky was like a gazelle! How could he run so fast? Well, he’d have to lose stamina soon.
But twenty-three blocks later, Sky still had a good two meter lead on Alex. Alex could feel his head spinning; Sky could only feel that much worse. Alex kept pedaling though. He wasn’t letting this weird nerd get away that easily. Sweat was forming on Alex’s brow and soaking his shirt. His lungs heaved with each quick breath he drew. And finally, he was getting closer to Sky. As Alex closed in on Sky, his hand reached out, ready to grab the other boy’s collar.
Alex finally abandoned the bike and lunged for the other boy. Sky crashed to the ground as he was tackled by the no longer murderous Alex. As soon as both boys lay on the grass between the curb and the sidewalk, they didn’t have the strength to move a muscle. They both just laid there, listening to the bike’s wheels spinning furiously.
Alex heard the other boy mutter something that sounded a bit like; “Good thing… Heartless, don’t… ride… bicycles.”
“What?” Alex questioned, turning to look at the other boy.
“Nothing.” He mumbled quickly, taking a deep breath to fill his lungs.
“That’s nice.” Alex drawled, closing his eyes, just focusing on supplying oxygen to his body.
“You know, we’re both dead if something comes after us.” Sky chuckled emptily, his body still too drained to make a full laugh.
“What… would come, after us?” Alex questioned, his breathing almost returning to semi-normal.
“You have no idea.” Sky informed him, all signs of exhaustion gone from his voice.
Sky jumped to his feet, smugly waving at Alex. Alex attempted to bruise his leg, too spent to put anymore effort in.
“What are you? Some kind of animal?!” Alex snapped, still staring up at the sky.
“Nope, I’ve just had two years of practice.” Sky replied, running off towards nowhere.
-------------
Aera had changed back into her normal clothes that she usually wore on their adventures. A simple strapless top that came down to her waist. A skirt over a pair of short jeans covered her legs. Sure the dress had diamonds cut in the sides, but that wasn’t her fault. Blue vines wove over the light purple surface of the dress. The skirt was a dark purple, with a worn look over the ends of the skirt, the jeans were fine. It was comfortable, so wonderfully comfortable.
She was waiting for him, waiting to bite his head off. As soon as he stepped through the door a low guttural growl escaped her throat. Though, the sight of hair plastered to his face from sweat and part of his hair sticking out from his scalp like a porcupine from the coffee was hilarious.
“Aera, can I-” he began.
“I’m going to do the talking here.” Aera snapped, stepping forwards.
“You had no right to snoop around like that! If I like him, it’s none of your business! Why were you even spying on me?!” she screamed, unphased by standing up to the taller boy.
“Because… I wanted to make sure this… Alex didn’t hurt you.” Sky replied, looking down at the blonde.
“Well, I’m fine! You’re the one with first degree burns!” Aera snapped, her hands balling into fists.
“Well, you weren’t supposed to see me!” Sky defended himself.
“Oh wow! You’re making me want to kiss you all over again!” Aera yelled sarcastically.
“You said never to mention that again…” Sky muttered, his face going up in flames.
“I wouldn’t if you’d stop butting into my personal life!” Aera growled, narrowing her eyes.
“I’m protecting you!” Sky exclaimed again.
“Protect me on the battle field. Not the dating game.” Aera hissed, turning away and walking into her room.
“Wait, Aer!” Sky called, putting his hand on her shoulder as she walked through the door.
The door slammed on his hand.

Thank-you. Very Happy
I am a very talented writer
Next chapter I'm talking to Thundra about obsessing over Sky's hand, those Gummi Ship doors are hard! They have to withstand outerspace and enemy lasers!
So his hand will be sprained at the least.

I’m So Sorry My Agonizing Pain Is Inconveniencing You
Chapter Four
Circle of Hell

“What happened to your hand?” the lively blonde girl asked as she trounced into the kitchen.
Sky glared at her as she smiled at him. Like she even had the right to ask that question anymore. She was the one who had slammed his hand in a door in the first place… Aera was of course referring to the blue sling that was keeping Sky’s limp hand up. His arm wasn’t broken; the sling was used to keep his left hand steady.
“Oh… the door?” she mumbled, averting her gaze to the floor beneath her bare feet.
“Well, I don’t remember putting my hand under any steamrollers recently, so yah!” Sky growled, anger laced around his words.
“How much was it?” she questioned, finally looking back up into the boy’s green eyes.
“Not a penny. I signed in under a false name and once I got the sling I ran out” he explained, smirking to himself.
“What was your false name?” she questioned, a small smile creeping over her face.
“Alex Johnson.” He snorted.
“… That’s not funny Sky.” Aera snapped, her delighted expression crashing and burning immediately.
“Yes it is.” Sky sang, standing up, soaking in Aera’s obvious displeasure and using it to power his confidence.
Aera opened her mouth to speak, though she was thankfully cut off by the ringing phone. Sky hand rushed to the accept button on the dashboard (They only had speaker phone), though Aera put her hand atop it before he could reach it. She let the ringing persist for five rings before finally letting Sky press the button. Sky raised an eyebrow in her direction before slapping his hand down on the big blue button.
“Hello” he greeted whoever was on the other line, still thankful for the interruption in their disagreement.
“Can I speak to Aera please?” the male on the other end mumbled gruffly, obviously wanting to stop speaking to the silver haired boy. Alex.
“Goodbye.” Sky sand in his own sugar sweet voice, his fingertips brushing on top of the red button to the right of the blue one.
“No!” Aera shrieked, her voice about four octaves higher than usual, tackling the taller boy to the ground.
“Ouch! Don’t attack the crippled boy!” Sky exclaimed, slapping her with his weaker hand. (Yes, Sky is left-handed now)
“Oh for the love of the Anti-Christ! You’re not crippled, you have a broken hand!” she screamed, balling her hands up into fists as her knees pressed roughly into his ribs.
A snort could be heard on the other end, this must have been a very verbally pleasing conversation for the blonde boy. “Anti-Christ?” he questioned, chuckling almost uncontrollably.
“She’s a hardcore Atheist.” Sky croaked, losing air rapidly as Aera’s knees forced his lungs to compress.
“You better believe it!” Aera exclaimed with that tomboyish air that Sky found so charming about her.
“Hey, Sky broke his hand?” Alex inquired, his voice splitting at the seams with pure glee.
“You don’t have to sound so excited about it.” Sky murmured, sliding out from under Aera breathlessly.
“Shut up.” Alex chirped angrily, trying to forget his sister’s love interest ever existed.
“Now, now Alex, that’s not very nice.” Aera chimed, tracing her fingertips in a heart motion around the speaker installed in the dashboard.
“Would you like it if your boyfriend’s sister started dating your brother?” Alex asked flatly, thinking he her knew the answer.
“Well, you’ll have to be more specific, which boyfriend are we talking about?” Aera bantered, a smile crossing her face. If there was a phone chord she’d be twirling it around her finger like those lovesick girls in movies did.
“What?! How many others are there?” he roared, anger seeping through the speaker.
“Sweetie, sweetie, calm down, I’m just kidding, lighten up a little.” She comforted, patting the speaker as if Alex was standing there right now.
Sky flinched jealously as Aera called his arch-enemy ‘sweetie’. He hated Alex more than, any person who’d ever tried to kill him. And here Aera was sweet-talking him over Lover’s Leap into the river of hearts over the waterfall made of flowers and chocolate that emptied into the Rainbow of pretty ponies. How could Alex have it so easy while Sky was left high and dry? Well, not completely high and dry, he had Sierra.
“Really Aera? What about that guy who came through here last night? Was it Sven? Or Danny? I can’t remember, I can never remember whose boxers are whose, which reminds me, can you please stop giving them my clothes?” Sky chirped, leaning over Aera’s shoulder.
“Sky, that’s not funny. Do you want me to break your other hand?” Aera hissed, slapping his cheek with her right hand as he chuckled maniacally.
“I must diverge” Sky whispered into Aera’s ear, his head resting on her shoulder as he spoke.
“What the heck?! Sky, I told you to stop the dictionary!” Aera shrieked, swatting him away from her.
“Wait… am I on speakerphone?” Alex questioned, suddenly realizing how both of the teenagers could clearly be heard and were both answering to him over the phone.
“Sorry, we don’t have one of those receiver thingamabobs. The phone is built into the dash- counter” Aera replied, stopping herself from saying dashboard. How many people had a phone in their car?
“Oh… well anyways, I was wondering if we could meet up later… There’s this sweet place at the mall I know you’d love.” He offered, again trying to forget the boy standing inches from his girlfriend.
“Sounds great baby, you bring Sierra and I’ll bring, Sky, bye!” Aera exclaimed, slapping the End Call button before Alex had a chance to start his endless rant that he was obviously preparing to voice.
“Congratulations Aer, you’ve managed to drag me into Dante’s seventh circle of hell! Again.” Sky snapped sarcastically, sending her another well practiced glare as she strode past him.
“Don’t worry. I’m here to fight of Satan.” She sang, a radiating smile being flashed his way.
“That’d be easier if you weren’t on his side.” Sky muttered, kicking the dashboard in anger
------------
“Just act casual Alex, and don’t embarrass me. And please, try not to kill anyone.” Sierra mumbled, as she could see Aera and Sky walk up to the door at the front of the mall.
“Right. Can I wring his neck?” Alex asked hopefully, a smile crossing over his features.
“No.” she replied, her eyes drifting upwards towards the heavens.
“Can I-”
“No, now stop asking!” Sierra growled; refusing to look his way as their dates came closer.
“Hey you two!” Aera called, a wide grin plastered in the place where her mouth should be.
“Ouch, all that joy… hurting, brain!” Alex exclaimed, shielding his eyes from the blonde girl.
“Funny, you know, I think that there’s more where that came from.” Aera chirped sardonically.
As Aera pulled Alex closer into a quick kiss, Sky squeezed his eyes shut. Sierra rolled her eyes, seemingly the only one who wasn’t blowing everything out of proportion. She took Sky’s hand, leading him through the doors into the mall. She put a finger over one of her lips, ducking behind the corner.
Sky raised an eyebrow in her direction before crouching next to her, his side pressed against the wall. Alex broke away from Aera a soft sigh escaping his lips. Alex’s eyes opened to see Aera smiling radiantly his way. It took him a few seconds to acknowledge the missing presence of the other two on this one way trip to hell.
“Where did Sierra and Lucifer go?” he exclaimed, wheeling around to make sure that the two were missing.
“Okay, Alex, one rule; around me, you’re not allowed to mention anything from the Bible, as I will most likely not understand it, and if I do, I will wring your neck.” Aera replied, patting Alex’s shoulder.
“But then to make up for it you’ll wear that outfit you wore yesterday, right?” Alex proposed, practically drooling over Aera’s shoes.
“We can discuss that later.” Aera mumbled, walking backwards through the doors the other pair of lovebirds had walked through only moments ago.
Alex grinned to himself at the thought of seeing Aera in that outfit again. And thankfully his newest enemy was out of sight. Out of sight, out of mind Alex thought to himself, not even daring himself to think about what they were doing, or what they could be doing…
“Think fast!” Sierra exclaimed, pouncing onto her brother as he rounded the corner.
Aera stopped in her tracks turning her head to see Sky standing behind the brunette, looking lost as usual. She rolled her eyes, kneeling down to put her arms around Alex. She brushed him off, making sure nothing was fractured. Sky’s face flamed up in jealousy at his friends actions. He gently pulled Sierra to her feet, checking her for any bruises of any kind before he pressed his lips into her cheek.
Alex stood, growling at Sky for reasons unknown. Then with no warning, his hands reached out for Sky’s neck. They clamped tightly around their target, closing Sky’s trachea. The taller boy’s hands reached up to attempt to pry Alex’s away as he cut off the supply of air.
Aera sighed in exasperation, backing away from the fight scene. She caught Sierra’s eye, motioning down the aisle. Sierra sent her a questioning look before following obediently. Both females wanted nothing more than to get away from the fight scene erupting in the vicinity.
Both girls slipped away unnoticed by their dates. Sky finally tore Alex’s hands from his neck, taking a huge, gulping inhalation. Sky had Alex’s hands in a death grip, deciding between flipping the blonde over his shoulder and pinning him to the ground. In the end, he dropped the other’s hands with a glare that could kill.
“Too weak to attack, yourself?” Alex snapped, his voice rolled in sheer, complete hatred.
“You’re not worth the dirt you’re standing on.” Sky hissed, glaring at the other boy as he turned around to leave.
Only to come back three seconds later, “The girls seem to have deserted us.” Sky stated.
Alex rolled his eyes, pushing Sky off to the side, “They didn’t leave us to murder each other. See! If you just look a little closer; you’ll see that no one’s… standing… there…” Alex muttered; his eyes boggling as he realized that in fact, they were alone.
“What was that? Can you say it a little louder?” Sky offered, cupping his good hand around his left ear.
“No one’s standing there!” Alex yelled at the top of his lungs straight into Sky’s ear canal.
Sky held his ear with his good hand, though since he’d held his left ear, he had to reach over his sling with his right hand. Don’t ask why he decided to cup his hand around that ear in the first place. “Ouch, my ear, I think it’s bleeding!” he whined, falling onto the ground and convulsing.
“Oh put a sock in it Drama Queen.” Alex growled, hoisting the other boy to his feet, not sympathizing with his broken hand. “Now, we can either try to find our girlfriends, or I can go back to killing you. What’s it gonna be?” Alex hissed glaring at Sky.
“Or we can try and get along for once!” Sky offered spitefully, a grin passing over his face.
Alex sent him a glare that spoke a million words, “That’s strike two. On more and you’re out.” Alex muttered.
“What was strike one?”
“Kissing my sister.”

Yes, I wrote this one, Thundra had lots to do. Anywayz, if you haven't realized it already, I like hurting Sky, I don't know why...
