Sinking Empty Sinking

No, no, no... the girl mumbled, her fingers grazing the stickers atop the CDs.
There was pretty much nothing worthwhile there. At least CDs she didn't already have. But of course here you could listen to the stuff for free. Laen sighed almost inaubily, turning to the next rack of CDs. She placed the headphones around her ears and scanned the first CD in her reach, praying it wasn't total crap. But the store was so close to the boarding school, most of their stuff was either censored or something that could have com out of Barney. Laen wasn't too interested in anything that had to do with a big purple dinosaur.
Go ahead as you waste your days with thinking
Could be worse. she mumbled, closing her eyes.

Sar grabbed the heavy metal bar on the door and shoved, muscles rippling as he opened it. He walked in, and wandered over to the 'sale' rack.
He scanned the rows, looking for something, anything, to listen to.
With a sigh he finished his search without sucess, then turned, bumping into a white-blond haired girl. "Sorry" he mumbled before reaching over her arm to a CD. He looked at the title Fading Memories and rolled his eyes. It had to be some sob story of some love-crazed teenager.
He sighed again, then saw another- "Hip Hop Hits" He grabbed a headset and listened for a while.
Not bad he thought before returning the disk to its case and walking past the girl to the register. The cashier rang it up and he walked over to a small table in one of the windows. He stared out at the streets, pumped up the volume on his walkman, and lost himself in his thoughts.

ooc:White-blond haired girl, doesn't take to long to figure out where that came from.

Your subleties, They str-
Then the girl's train of thoughts was brought to a abrupt halt by a nudge in her backside. She whirled around immediately, ready to chew off this guy's head immediately. Then she saw his golden eyes and shaggy-ish hair. Shades of red immediately ran over her cheek bones at his appearance. Of course that didn't stop her from thinking of how to approach him. A simple blush didn't turn her away, she blushed whenever she saw a cute guy, it was pretty much habitual by now. Of course she was still self-confident, a bit overly sure of herself. She'd pretty much been on her own since she turned thirteen. Her parents had just stopped trying by then, giving up on their strange daughter. Laen couldn't care less though, ever since they showed her that note that proved she wasn't their real daughter yes and no were the most intricate words she spoke to them.
Laen pulled the headphones off, putting the CD back in a random place. She pretended to look through some more CDs until the boy sat down. She waited a few more moments before sitting down at the same table. Don't act weird, don't act like a stalker, lean in, smile, don't act freakish she told herself, obeying the tips she gave herself. Speak, and be intellectual but not dorky, don't be stalkerish
You bumped into me earlier, I think that entitles me to at least five minutes of conversation the girl offered, speaking loudly as it was obvious he was lost in his thoughts.
Though she still sounded angelic, the thought made her wonder which of her parents had the smooth, perfect, crystalline voice. She refrained from touching the chain around her neck, as that would make room for unwelcomed questions. No one knew of how she was left on her parent's doorstep like in some fairy tale. But unlike a fairy tale, the girl highly doubted she would grow up to reveal she was a long lost princess who her country thought had died at birth. Not even her best friends knew.
And it was best to keep it that way.

Sar sat up straighter from his dreamy slouch when the girl he had bumped into sat with him. She said something, and he quickly turned down his music. He slid his headphones off his ears so they hung around his neck, and he studied the girl for a moment. She was quite pretty, but a girl didnt freak him out. Sorry, Come Again?

Laen chuckled as soon as she realized he hadn't heard a word she'd said.
Nevermind. My name's Laen. Would you care telling me yours? she breathed, leaning closer to the boy.
Her hands reached out to his, grasping his tanned hands in her paler ones. She smiled warmly at him, hoping he wasn't one of those kids who was all- 'Let's be friends first!' She usually locked those dorks in their own locker. Don't think she's mean though, she's usually sweet, she just prefers to meet a guy and get right to the fun stuff. I bet you're surprised she hasn't been knocked up. Laen inched closer to the boy, not at all feeling embarrassed or ashamed, this is what high school was all about, hooking up with people you don't know and falling head over heels over people that don't give a crap about you. Oh, there was so much more for Laen to find.

A soft smile comes to Sar's face when she laughs. "I'm Kisaru... Sar." he says. Her hands were warm, soft, colored like cream. He noticed that she started to scoot her chair over towards him. He shifted slightly, looking over her shoulder at the newspaper that some customer had left there. One thing he noticed~She smelled good. It smelled exotic, entrancing, beautiful.
He leaned back, rocking the chair onto its back legs. "I'm kinda hungry.. Do you want to go grab a bite to eat?" His eyes found hers and held the gaze, he didnt blink, waiting for her reaction.

Food sounds great. She replied, not missing a beat.
She was relieved that he wasn't some insecure dork. This would be fun, she could tell, wherever this guy took her, she couldn't care less. Yeah, he was cute, but duh, this wouldn't last forever. But whenever it ended, she knew she wouldn't have a single regret about whatever happened during the time they knew each other on good terms. She wasn't dumb. Of course they weren't boyfriend, girlfriend... yet. But she had high hopes with this guy.

He stands up, grabs his black sweater, jams his music player in his bag, and offers the girl his hand.
Where would you like to go?
He exits, then holds the door for her.

Danny's is good.
She replied, quickly jumping up from her seat and walking out of the store. She turned to face him, a wide smile crossing over her face.
